Day 3 Tokyo
your Japan journey begins with a full day sightseeing tour of Tokyo. Visit some of the major sights including the Tokyo Sky Tree with 360 panoramic views of the city, Tsukiji Outer Fish Markets, and Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo’s most famous Buddhist Temple. Drive by some famous shopping districts such as Ginza and Akihabara. The day will conclude early evening where you will have the rest of the evening free to explore the nightlife of Tokyo or see some Sumo wrestling.
Let’s start your day to visit Tsukiji Market. Tsukiji Makret is known as the biggest market in Japan, and there are lots of Fish Shop & Other type of food shops are located. Your guide will take you through the market, to show how Japanese people eat & live.
After enjoying the market, you will be transferred to a venue to have “Private Sushi Making & Sushi Party”.
This special private Sushi Making Program will be provided exclusively for you. Sushi is a staple of the Japanese diet. In this hands-on program you will enjoy learning and making various types of Sushi. The program staff will prepare ingredients not only raw fish, but also meats or vegetables, so if you are with special food requirement can also enjoy. After making Sushi, you can have Sushi Party with those sushi which you will have just made.
After enjoying Sushi Party, the program will be followed by Kimono wearing & Japanese Tea Ceremony. In the Japanese Style Room, you will be greeted by Kimono Specialist arrange exclusively for you, and then you will learn many facets of formal kimono dressing.
Ladies will be dressed for formal occasions in a supple subdued and graceful kimono. You can also choose to wear a brilliant colored long-sleeved kimono. You look just like a maiko, apprentice geisha in Kyoto.
Gentlemen will wear a kimono and hakama, loose-legged pleated trousers. You will look just like a samurai holding a Japanese sword or wooden sword.
After wearing Kimono, Tea Ceremony will be started. You will be welcomed by a Tea Master. The Tea masters will teach you how you make it and explain the profound meaning of it, connected to Zen Buddhism. It was founded in the 16th century and surprisingly the original spirits still remain, which will provide you a peaceful mind in the tearoom. Tea Ceremony is regarded as a comprehensive Japanese art including everything,-a hanging scroll, a flower arrangement, tea instruments, and even breeze and sunshine-, the harmony among them is superb. It must be a precious time, and you must completely forget about your busy everyday life.
Today embark on a full day sightseeing tour of the Hakone and Lake Ashi area. Visit Mt Fuji, Japan’s national icon. Drive up to the Mt Fuji 5th station of the mountain and its viewing spots. Enjoy a cruise on lake Ashi, then ropeway up Mt. Komagatake, stopping at Owakudani Valley for a spectacular panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area. After sightseeing, arrive at your Hakone Ryokan (Japanese style accommodation) and enjoy a delicious welcome dinner
depart for Takayama via Nagoya on the Shinkansen bullet train. You will have the afternoon and evening free to explore this beautiful little town. For dinner you might like to try the famous “Hida-gyu” beef, a speciality dish in Takayama. After dinner relax and unwind in the Japanese Onsen (Hot Springs) at your accommodation.
Today visit some famous sights in Takayama including the Hida Folk Village, an open air museum exhibiting over 30 traditional houses from the region, Matsuri-no-mori and San-machi, a traditional Japanese village area and Takayama Jinya. Explore this historic area of Takayama’s old town. A small 3 lane area is filled with old wooden buildings consisting of sake breweries, small boutiques and some larger merchant houses which are now museums.
morning free to explore more of the beautiful little town of Takayama. We recommend visiting the early morning Takayama markets, where local fresh produce and souvenirs stalls are set up. In the afternoon, travel by bus visiting Gokayama, a World Heritage listed area and experience Japanese paper making.
This morning join a Kanazawa city tour visiting, Higashi Chayagai, Kenroku-en Garden – one of Japan’s 3 most beautiful gardens. Also visit Nagamachi Buke Yashiki, and Omicho Market
Travel to Osaka city by the JR limited express train.
Morning city tour of Osaka visiting, Osaka Castle, Floating Garden Observatory and the Namba area.
In the afternoon, travel to Hiroshima by Shinkansen bullet train. Accommodation in Hiroshima for 2 nights.
Today, visit some of the major sights of Hiroshima, including Miyajima Island, Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, a World Heritage listed site and the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome and peace park.
Breakfast at your own leisure. In the morning depart for Kyoto by Shinkansen Bullet Train. Take a detour to Himeji on the way, visiting Himeji castle, a World Heritage listed site and Koko-en Garden. Then continue onto Kyoto city and check into your accommodation where you will be staying for 3 nights.
Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Kyoto city visiting some of the most famous sites including the Golden Pavilion, Shimogamo-jinja, Sanjusangendo amd Kodai-ji. A tea ceremony experience and lunch is also included today.
