Stop at the Thingvallatin National Park and view the mid Atlantic Ridge – one of the only place on the planet where you can see both North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Among the lava fields see Iceland’s largest lake.
Discover the Geysir hot spring area before visiting the Gullfoss Falls. End your day with a visit to the secret lagoon.

Today we travel the short distance to Landeyjahofn on the South Coast, where we take the ferry to the Westman Islands, a group of 15 islands. The main island is Heimaey and Iceland’s best kept secret. Home to the largest puffin colony we will have plenty of time to see these cheeky birds before exploring the rest of the island. Enjoy the windiest part of Europe and a drive inside a volcano crater.
During your free time play Westman Islands Golf course, nestling in the crater of an extinct Volcano.
Travel to Iceland’s west coast and visit Akranes a main fishing port and on a peninsula. Continue to Borganes gateway to the west.
Iceland Air Hotel Hamer is situated on a golf course. Enjoy 9 or 18 holes after dinner.
Explore the Sneafellsnes Peninsula which is often known as Mini Iceland and home to lava fields, glaciers, mountains, black sand beaches, lava caves and water falls.
Journey to the North coast, also known as the Arctic Coastline. Our next destination is Akereyri, Capital of the North of iceland and situated on one of the longest fjords in the country.Even though the Arctic Circle is only 60 km, Akureyri does maintain a mild climate in summer. On arrival explore the town and harbour.
Another great opportunity to play golf – this time on the course recognized by the Royal and Ancient as the most Northern 18 hole golf course in the World.
Visit Husavik, the oldest town in Iceland and the whale watching capital of the world. Meander the streets or take a Whale watching tour. Later visit Myvatn volcanic Lake, setting for Game of Thrones and close to a hot spring area with boiling mud pots. On the way back to Akureyri visit the Waterfalls of the Gods.
