Day 2: Calgary
Tour of Calgary: City Center, Fort Calgary where you will hear stories of the mounted police, and Stampede Park. Afternoon visit of Heritage Park a living museum that brings the sights, sounds and adventure of Western Canada’s past to life. Ride the thundering steam train, take a fun-filled trip to the antique midway, visit the worldclass Gasoline Alley Museum, and climb aboard the S.S. Moyie paddlewheeler. Overnight.
Day 3: Calgary – Banff (180km – 2h00)
Departure to Banff. Banff is a resort town located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thoroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and souvenir shops. The surrounding 6,500 square kilometres of parkland are home to wildlife including elk and grizzly bears. Enjoy sweeping views of the park as you enjoy a scenic ride aboard Canada’s most iconic attraction: the Banff Gondola. Next, see the Rocky Mountains from a new perspective while touring beautiful Lake Minnewanka on a panoramic interpretive cruise (1h). Beginning from the western end of the largest lake in Banff, the Banff Lake Cruise sets sail under towering peaks.Take in breathtaking mountains and emerald-green water as you keep a watchful eye on forested slopes and rocky shorelines for wildlife and waterfalls. Day 4: Banff – Lake Louise – Jasper (230km – 3h10)
Start the day with a visit of Lake Louise. Continue with photo stops at Bow Glacier and Lake as well as at Peyto Lake. Continue along snowfields on one of the most scenic routes in North America. Photo stops en route at Sunwapta and Athabasca Falls. Excursion by snow coach on the Athabasca Icefield. Arrival in Jasper. Overnight.
Day 5: Jasper
Day devoted to the visit of Jasper. Visit the picturesque town of Jasper, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by Jasper National Park. Excursion to Maligne Canyon, where you will enjoy a cruise on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island. Return to Jasper. Overnight.
Day 6: Jasper – Kamloops (by train)
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops. Please note all accommodations in Kamloops are of moderate standard. Breakfast & lunch will be served onboard*.
Day 7: Kamloops – Vancouver (by train)
Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening. Overnight in Vancouver. Breakfast & lunch will be served onboard.
Day 8: Vancouver- Victoria (1h35 by ferry & 120km – 1h50 by coach)
Leave for Vancouver Island via the Tsawassen ferry to Swartz Bay. This scenic ferry ride goes by a number of small islands abounding in marine life. Arrival in Victoria. Tour of town to discover scenic coastal Marine Drive and Beacon Hill Park, lovely Craigdarroch Castle, and the opulent British Columbia Parliament Buildings. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.
Day 9: Victoria
Start the day with a visit of the Royal B.C. Museum, one of Canada’s greatest cultural treasures. The museum has preserved and shared the human and natural histories of this province. Discover the famous First Peoples, Natural History and Modern History Galleries – a feast of sights, smells and sounds of British Columbia. Next, spend the afternoon at Butchart Gardens, one of the top display gardens in the world. Stroll through the many gardens including the famous sunken gardens, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden and Mediterranean Garden. Overnight in Victoria.
Day 10: Victoria – Whistler (2h10 by ferry & 215km – 3h00 by coach)
Departure to Nanaimo. From there, a ferry will then take you to Horseshoe Bay on the mainland. Continue on to Whistler via the famous Sea to Sky Highway, one of the most scenic routes in Western Canada. Arrival in Whistler in the afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the stone streets of Whistler Village. The Village is the central neighborhood of the town of Whistler, located at the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. It is divided into several areas – the Village, Village North and Upper Village. All the areas are connected by the paved, pedestrian-only Village Stroll. Overnight.
Day 11 Whistler – Vancouver (120km – 1h35)
Departure to Vancouver. Upon arrival, take a guided tour of Vancouver: the theatre and sports district, Granville Island, Canada Place, Chinatown, Gastown, Yaletown, Stanley Park and its totems, then Granville Island Market. animals. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 12 Vancouver
Departure for a visit of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Towering 70m above the Capilano River, the 140m long suspension bridge is both an engineering marvel and an attraction in its own right. The park also features rain forest ecotours, award-winning gardens, nature trails, North America’s largest private collection of First Nations totem poles, period decor and costumes, and exhibits highlighting the park’s history and the surrounding temperate rain forest. Guests can also witness a First Nations performance, featuring their traditional Regalia (ceremonial dress), masks, dancing and storytelling. Return to Vancouver. Overnight.
Day 13: Vancouver / Departure

City tour of Toronto during which you will see Saint Michael’s Cathedral, the City Hall, the financial district, the entertainment district, Distillery Row and the Harbourfront. Visit of the CN Tower. Defining the Toronto skyline at 553.33m (1,815ft5in) the CN Tower is Canada’s most recognizable and celebrated icon. The CN Tower is an internationally renowned architectural triumph, an engineering Wonder of the Modern World, world-class entertainment and dining destination and a must see for anyone visiting Toronto. Day 15: Toronto / Niagara Falls
Leave for Niagara Falls. Visit the world-famous falls, a multi-sensory experience. This is one of the seven wonders of the world and perhaps the most captivating of all. Enjoy a Hornblower Cruise for an up-close view of the falls. Free time to discover the falls by yourself, especially attractions like Journey behind the Falls and the Spanish Funicular, or enjoy the views along different footpaths. Return to Toronto in the afternoon crossing through the lovely 17th century town of Niagara on the Lake. Here, you will enjoy a tour and tasting of a local winery. Overnight.
Day 16: Toronto / Departure
